High school life is very thrilling but extremely stressful. Chu Van An introduced me to a whole new world, different from any I have encountered before. Here, I first learned how to balance between my academic life as well as pursue my many hobbies and extra-curriculum activities. The thought of being able to bring to life so many exciting ideas and thoughts as well as be a part of the organizing team of various social events is what makes all the difference, adding a thrilling element to my student life.

My first year returning to my home country after 3 years abroad was met with a lot of challenges but not without its rewards. Here, I have made a lot of invaluable connections which I still keep close in my heart even till this day. I was, in the two years spent here, caught in a roller coaster of array of emotions. There are days which I felt like a stranger in my own community, especially with the challenge of COVID-19, but once I overcame that, I woke up everyday thankful that I was able to go to school. The community and strong bonds here are things that sure are not going to leave my heart anytime soon.

This is where I first break out of my comfort zone, where a girl can barely speaks English and would hold her tongue whenever possible learned that the only way to make friends and get used to a new environment is to voice her thoughts without the fear of being judged, where I grew immensely not just age-wise but mentally. I am forever grateful for the chance to study here.
